As a part of our programme for transition to secondary school we welcome teachers from our local secondary schools to speak with our pupils in the senior classroom.
Mr Moynihan from Colaiste Bride visited today and Mr Murphy from the EVC will visit on the 10th of October. Now is a good time to begin to speak with your 5th/6th class child about secondary school.
As with last year, we will send surveys to parents and pupils of 6th class to find out about their expectations and thoughts on going to secondary school. In the final term we also complete the NEXT Steps programme. This programme looks at the practical things like timetables, subjects and organisation. We will forward any information that we have about Open Days or Information Evenings for pupils and parents.
