Hallowe’en Celebrations

We will be having our annual Pumpkin Carving Competition next week! Our judges will be looking for originality, imagination and creativity. Parents of course can help and it is a lovely activity to do as a family. Entry is €5 per pumpkin. Pumpkins can be brought in on Wednesday or Thursday morning.

Our dressing up day for Hallowe’en will be on Thursday the 25th. We would ask that no dangly jewellery, swords, guns, tridents etc. be brought it as a part of their costumes.

As Thursday will be a normal school day, it is important that your child have normal clothes or their school uniform on underneath in case they are uncomfortable and wish to remove the costume. We also ask for this so that any long costumes that might cause tripping while playing at break time can be changed into and out of if necessary.

School will be closed for the Presidential Elections on Friday the 26th.
