Huge thank you to everyone who joined us tonight for our Christmas Play and performances. Our girls and boys were just superb and sang their hearts out! They were so confident and thoroughly enjoyed their performance.
So many people to thank. Gayle for leading our ukulele players, Barry for the sound and lights, Claire, Paul, Annette and Sebastian for all their help, Wheelock's for our tree, the Doyle School of Irish Dancing, as well as all the businesses who sponsored a prize.
None of tonight could have happened without the dedication, commitment and enthusiasm of our wonderful team of teachers, SNAs and super secretary, Mag!

We were very sad to hear today of the passing of Master O’Shea. The Board of Management and Staff of Scoil Mhuire wish to convey our condolences to the family and friends of Master O’Shea. We thank him for his many years of service to the school and community.
Speaking with Master O'Shea always reminded me of this poem.

In arguing too, the parson owned his skill, For e’en though vanquished, he could argue still; While words of learned length and thundering sound Amazed the gazing rustics ranged around, And still they gazed, and still the wonder grew That one small head could carry all he knew.
