Seal Sanctuary Visit

We had the most incredible visit from the Seal Sanctuary today. Jesh and Ffion told us all about their work and how we can help keep our seas healthy. We will have more about what we learned on the website soon but I wanted to introduce the two seals that our school has adopted.

Meet Egg and Sundae!

Over the next few months we will receive information on how Egg and Sundae are recovering and how their rehabilitation is going. They will be released as soon as they are strong enough and we will be given details of their release. Hopefully we will have the opportunity to see it! The Seal Sanctuary is the only one in Ireland and is located in Courtown just behind the leisure centre. They currently have 25 seals as many were injured by cyclone Callum last week. Now is a good time to visit!
