Recognition as a “GAA 5 Star Centre” is awarded to Primary Schools that undertake to deliver a programme of Gaelic Games activity that is age-appropriate and meets the developmental needs of children within the school. Davidstown PS is part of the national pilot of this scheme and we are delighted to announce that we have been designated a GAA 5 Star Centre!
Many thanks to Paudge Courtney and Dave Berry for our football and training sessions, to Ms Delaney and Ms Whelan for their dedication to our Rackard League and Mini 7’s, to our local club Davidstown/Courtnacuddy and to all our families for their support and all the driving they do to matches all over the county!
A special word of thanks to Michael Cosgrave and Tommy Owens for running our Hurling 365 this year. The flag will be presented by Wexford GAA at our final Hurling 365 session in June. Well done everyone!
